Depuis l’an 2000, l’ASBL Fête de la Musique a pour but de promouvoir la Fête de la Musique qui se déroule, chaque année, le 21 juin, jour du solstice d’été. Pour éviter aux nombreux événements organisés pour l’occasion de se concurrencer et afin de permettre à un maximum de musiciens de participer à l’événement, la Fête de la Musique s'étendra cette année sur les dates du 18, 19, 20 et 21 juin pour permettre au public d’assister à un maximum de concerts dans diverses localités.
La Fête de la Musique est la célébration de la musique vivante de tous les genres, de toutes les couleurs et de tous les goûts. Elle est aussi un appel à la participation spontanée et gratuite et s’adresse aussi bien aux individus qu’aux ensembles, amateurs ou professionnels, pratiquant le chant ou un instrument de musique. Tous les concerts dans le cadre de la Fête de la Musique sont toujours gratuits pour le public.
Grâce à l’engagement de l'association Fête de la Musique, de nos partenaires et de nos sponsors, de plus en plus d’organisateurs locaux adhèrent à cette merveilleuse idée et de plus en plus de musiciens et ensembles désirent y participer. Des demandes de groupes du Luxembourg, mais aussi de toute la Grande-Région ainsi que du monde entier nous parviennent tous les ans.

La plateforme Internet

Depuis son lancement en 2005, notre plateforme Internet rencontre un écho grandissant auprès des artistes luxembourgeois, mais aussi dans les régions frontalières de manière à ce que nous puissions comptabiliser 73 groupes et artistes que nous avons proposé à tous nos partenaires pour leur programmation en 2009. Cette plateforme est accessible via notre site (www.fetedelamusique.lu) et les artistes peuvent s'y inscrire dès maintenant et jusqu'au 29 janvier 2010.
L'ASBL Fête de la Musique ne fait que regrouper les données des groupes et conseille les partenaires locaux en cas de besoin. En cas d'intérêt pour un artiste ou groupe, les organisateurs contacteront les artistes directement.
Libre aux musiciens de prendre contact directement avec les organisateurs pour manifester leur intérêt à participer à une Fête de la Musique en particulier. Vous trouverez les coordonnées des organisateurs sur notre site.

so you have a week to practice and then you can come and sing with us at veRso !

04/09/2009: Hellö everybody,
back to school, back to work, back to business. We're planning a great WINGED SKULL RECORDS LABEL NIGHT at veRso for the second day of their first anniversary weekend on the 19th of September 2009.
The admission will be free!!
Two new albums will be presented:
* Sliver - music is a weapon
* Cico (Uranami) - libero come erminio
These two bands will be joined P.O.Box from Nancy - F and there will be a lot more going on this whole weekend at veRso club. Check this link for more info.
The CDs will be available online and in some stores soon too. All our artists are also available on iTunes and other legal downloading platforms!!

21/05/2009: There is a time for everything and everything needs its time. Winged Skull Records has been putting up shows and releasing dozens of albums since the year 2000 but last year most of the independent organisation's efforts have been dedicated to the launch and promotion of one of Clausen's new venues, veRso.
Looking back to 2008 means looking back to the launch of veRso but also to the release of 6 local CD productions including:
* Eric Rosenfeld - we need direction (8th December) followed by the Rock-Coeur promo tour through Luxembourg during 21 shows in schools, homes etc. during December 2008.
* Kitshickers - The Orion Constallation (8th November)
* Fruta Boys - Fruta Boys (1st August)
* Eric Rosenfeld - 529 (10th May)
* Allella Boyz - Allella Time (5th April)
* Versus You - This is the sinking (16th February)
The Luxembourg based label is now preparing two new releases for September 2009:
* Cico - Libero come Erminio; featuring Uranami's Cico sharing his studio with Pecca (Uranami), Corbi (De Läb), Rachel Barreira, Eric Rosenfeld (Versus You), Godie (A.L.S.), Matti (A.L.S.), Thorunn, Raftside and even more featured artists from Luxembourg and Italy.

* Sliver - Music is a weapon; France, Belgium, Luxembourg based hardcore band with rocking emo influences. They've just come back from their first promo tour of the album and will release it officially in Luxembourg during autumn 2009.

Winged Skull Records is also working on the launch of a local and international Short Film Festival in Luxembourg for early 2010.
There will be an exchange programm with a European Country to set up conferences, workshops and roundtables during the Festival. The festival is planned to last for 4 days with loads of satellite activities around it (expos, parties, concerts, specials).

21/04/2009: That's the latest statement of our newly signed band called Sliver. These dudes from France, Belgium and Luxembourg based in Nancy are about to release their new full-lenght record together with Winged Skull (L) and We Are All Liars Records (B).
The album features 10 emo-indie-hardcore songs that have been already promoted on a Eropean Tour earlier in April.
